Hi everyone,
I wanted to ask someone with a lot of experience on eBay for some information about messages with buyers regarding their items for sale; let me explain better:
In case a buyer wants to make a return or ask me for a refund for a video game by claiming a malfunction that doesn't exist, even though I have provided photo proof via message that the game works correctly, does eBay also check the chats before giving its "opinion"?
The situation is this; a buyer asked me for information about a video game via message, I provided photographic proof through the chat of its correct functioning and in theory I have almost completed the sale but I'm afraid that this person might ask me for a refund or a return because of their console, I suspect it is defective and doesn't read video games properly.
I'm still a small fish on eBay, I reach at most about ten sales a month if everything goes well and a dispute right now would knock my legs out from under me in a way that's almost irreversible.

Mentore1 year agoHello,
unfortunately if you run into a less-than-honest buyer, there’s no escape.
If a buyer asks too many questions, it can be a sign of a problematic user, who doesn’t know what they want or isn’t sure what they’re looking for.
Personally... I’d block them!
Kind regards.

OP1 year agoThanks a lot for your reply, I thought the same thing;
I “lost” a sale but I prefer it this way; before reading your reply via message I tried to discourage him from buying that Video Game from my account, a sixth sense was telling me not to sell anything to this user.
I feel bad for him.
