A business seller won't give me the return label
Hello everyone, I requested a return so I could then buy the same item but in a different color from a business seller in Germany who accepts returns. After I made the request, he would have accepted it, but he told eBay that he will not provide me with the return label. I waited the necessary days for eBay to step in, and this morning I was told that the seller would be contacted to provide me with this label. In the meantime, I also contacted him again myself, but no response... now I’ve read that eBay has put the request on hold for another 4-5 days. What will happen if he still doesn’t reply? Thanks

Mentore3 years agoIf the seller made a mistake (they sent you a red item instead of the white one you ordered), you have the right to receive a return label.
If, on the other hand, you changed your mind (you don’t like the red one you ordered and now you want it white), you have to buy the return label yourself.
Even if the seller is a professional, under consumer law the return shipping costs for a change of mind are the buyer’s responsibility.

OP3 years agoBut at least I’m entitled to a refund, in your opinion? He said he would have told me to send it at his expense...

Mentore3 years agoIf you ask for a return through ebay and the seller accepts it, of course then they refund you the amount paid for the purchase and for the shipping costs to you.
