Hi everyone, I’d like to buy from a user registered as a private individual who has lots of positive feedback as a buyer but none as a seller. If something goes wrong, does the Bay guarantee cover it? Is there a way to verify that they’re reliable before proceeding with the purchase?

If they’ve never sold anything, it’s impossible to say in advance whether they’re reliable or not.

The eBay customer guarantee makes no distinction between professionals and private sellers. Professionals should also provide the EU legal guarantee on what they sell (new or used).
