binding value?
Summary: giusbil43 shared an experience in which, after negotiating via chat on eBay to buy an item, the seller later increased the price by 35% when they provided the link to the new listing. They asked whether a negotiation via chat on eBay has any binding value for users.
Good morning,
2 days ago I concluded an agreement with a user to buy an item. Since he was selling a set of items and I asked him what price he would give me for just one item, we negotiated through eBay chat.
We had agreed that he would send me the link to the new listing on eBay, but the next day he raised the price by 35%.
Question:
Does a negotiation through eBay, even if it's on chat, have binding value for users?
Thank you for any feedback.

Mentore3 weeks agoSince when? Between you, you only made small talk.
Only offers and counteroffers made through the eBay forms count (which in this case was impossible).
