Radio valve paid, the seller writes to me that it doesn't work, I cancel the order I haven't received a refund
I paid for an order for a vintage radio valve, cost 30 euros, plus ten for shipping. The seller writes to me that unfortunately the valve I ordered is ineffective. I cancel the order and ask for a refund via credit to my prepaid card. Today I write to the dealer, and he replies that it shows as refunded to him (which is not true) and tells me to contact EBAY, since they handle the procedure.
Can someone shed some light on this situation, or have I perhaps lost my 40 euros.

specifying that you cannot cancel or annul an order, but can only request its cancellation, which is optional for the seller whether to accept it or not.
Anyway, if the seller has confirmed the refund to you and you have also received confirmation emails from eBay, you need to look for the refund exactly on the card you used to pay, not on another one...

OP3 years agoThank you for your cooperation. I paid with a Master Card prepaid card, which I can check every day to see what my remaining balance is, and, if necessary, all my online purchases that are debited from it. Unfortunately I don’t see the credit of 30 euros from Ebay on my account, money withheld from me for the purchase I made and then canceled because the seller wrote to me that the vintage valve from a 1950/55 radio had been tested but was worn out. Every week I check and print my account statement, but I do not see any credit of 30 euros that I paid. That’s all.

Mentore3 years agoYou're welcome... so let me rephrase the question: "did you also receive a confirmation email from eBay" about the refund?
If you didn't receive it, that means the refund has not been issued, so you need to report to eBay that the item was not received:
