sell both in Italy and in Germany
hi everyone, I wanted to ask if eBay accounts in Italy and Germany are seen as two different stores.
I’m currently selling with the same account in both Italy and Germany and wanted to know if, should I want to close the store in .de, I can do it without closing the one in IT too?
So if I get restrictions on the one in DE, I won’t get them on the one in IT too, right?

the shop is one, you're registered in Italy but you can also sell in Germany, depending on the settings of your listings.
So, if you get restrictions from Germany, those are also valid in Italy.
But more than the German restrictions, I'd be concerned about the illegality of the Italian one... a private seller who sells new items in quantity is not normal... maybe you've already thought about opening a VAT number and regularizing everything?

OP1 year agoyeah, the VAT number is already being set up and as soon as eBay asks me to switch to professional I’ll do it, but so if I switch to professional in Italy, I automatically switch to professional in Germany too, right?
Anyway, I’m opening an Italian VAT number, I don’t want to open a German VAT number. If eBay asks me to open a German VAT number, I’ll close the German account and keep the one in Italy
