Sale of an item with delivery at the end of the month
Good evening, I sold an item with delivery at the end of January. The deadline eBay gives me is by the 12th, which is today. The customer was informed of the delay, but I don't know whether to prepare the shipment now since the item has to arrive to me because it's out of stock, or whether I should prepare the label when I'm about to ship it.
thanks to anyone who replies

Mentore2 years agoGood evening,
the very fact of selling items you don't have in order to buy them once sold with a private account makes you an unauthorized seller and this is both improper and not allowed on eBay.
I would say it would be better to regularize your account by switching to a professional one with a VAT number.
As for what you're asking, if you ship beyond the timeframes you yourself indicated in the listing, you will receive a defect on performance and a possible item not received claim, and remember that even if the customer receives the item, but late, they can still ask you for a return, even if everything is OK.
Kind regards.
