Good evening,due to a series of unfortunate coincidences, a payment I was expecting for an item sold on eBay was sent to an IBAN linked to a bank account I had closed only a few days earlier.Meanwhile, after realizing what had happened, I updated my IBAN with the correct one, but by then it was too late because the payment had already been made by eBay the previous day. What happens now? I called eBay customer support and they explained to me that they will try the payment again to the new IBAN automatically... but almost 10 days have now passed.I called my bank and they told me that, in fact, on the old checking account linked to the old IBAN, since it was closed before the incoming bank transfer, they have no record of any transaction, so it should have been rejected by them. What should I do? Any experience with this?
