Maybe someone has experience with this: I buy an item, listed as coming from Italy, but then from the first tracking I find out it’s being shipped from China. It was supposed to be delivered in 8 days, but a month has passed and I still haven’t received anything. eBay has replied twice saying that it doesn’t find any violation of the rules, when they themselves clearly wrote that it is mandatory to indicate the true country of origin.
They haven’t responded to my complaint, they keep putting it on hold and postponing a decision. The new thing today is that the tracking says it can’t be delivered and that the parcel will be sent back to the sender.
In the meantime eBay is doing nothing. What am I supposed to do, just wait? Is it possible that eBay protects dishonest sellers more than honest customers?

Mentore3 months agoIn some listings the seller says they ship from China, in others from Italy, he has various negative feedback and calls himself a "private seller"...
Simply open a dispute for item not received and get a refund.

OP3 months agoI did it, but eBay "suspended" the dispute twice, meanwhile a month has passed and who knows where my purchase is...

Mentore3 months agoClose it yourself, saying that you didn't receive the item, if the maximum expected delivery time has passed eBay certainly can't prove otherwise.
