Seller who doesn't ship the purchased product and doesn't respond to messages
Good morning,
that said, I placed the order on August 7, and the seller may be on holiday until the beginning of September without access to Ebay, so that’s what I’m leaning toward .. even if having 0 reviews leaves me a bit perplexed.
If I’m not mistaken, since I paid with PayPal, the dispute can still be handled with them even more than a month after the purchase, do you have any experience?
I’ll wait a little longer in the hope that he wakes up from his "hibernation" ... or I could even think he’s passed on to a better place.. That would be a rather rare case too.
Thanks for your opinions.
PS: I was recently burned by another order for a few euros, placed with a seller with no reviews, and I had to bring PayPal into it to close the matter with the refund return... I’m really such a sucker for insisting on buying from sellers "with no reviews" ...

Mentore2 years agoMore than anything, you keep ignoring the existence of eBay procedures (they have a short time window for protection, but they’re more effective than PayPal’s). However, in the event of non-delivery, the procedure must be opened within 30 days from the delivery deadline stated in the listing, whereas PayPal allows a dispute within 180 days of payment.

OP2 years agoHi Mario,
I don’t use Ebay that much, thanks for the links, because from the mobile app and also from the website I’d never noticed them, but I must be blind, and luckily for the purchases I’ve made I would’ve needed them 3 times in about 15 years.... I’ve always found Paypal to be an effective solution, at least in my limited cases, and for that reason I’ve never thought about looking for Ebay’s internal routes, but this time I’ll try with them first, since the 30 days from the order haven’t expired yet.
Thanks a lot
