Seller requesting an extra charge via email
Good morning, I’m asking whether this Seller’s way of acting is correct. I don’t live on an island and even though they knew the weight of the material, and therefore the total cost, the seller listed a lower price and now you are asking for an extra charge. I’m asking what I can do to get a refund and to report this incorrect way of selling to the site administrator. Thank you

Dear Customer,
Unfortunately Ebay's system does not allow additional costs to be specified immediately and the locations that incur a shipping surcharge, for this reason we sent you an email explaining the situation and giving you the opportunity to choose between the following options:

Mentore3 years agoGood morning,
even if you don't live on an island, you can live in a remote area and therefore the surcharge is mandatory...
Obviously there are systems to determine it in advance based on the postcode of residence... so, if you don't accept the seller's proposals it's hard to help you... the third proposal is precisely cancellation and refund...
You decide what to choose...
Kind regards.

OP3 years agoI don’t live in a disadvantaged area etc… , Modena isn’t one, but anyway everything can be disadvantaged depending on your point of view. The central point is WHY DOES A SELLER INDICATE FREE DELIVERY IN THE LISTING AND THEN INSTEAD ASK FOR AN EXTRA CHARGE. To me that doesn’t seem right, but from what you write it seems instead that this is normal practice.
