The seller says the package isn't theirs
Hello everyone,
I ordered a watch on eBay, paying with PayPal, the package arrives but surprise, there isn't a watch, just two rings, so I contact eBay who puts me in touch with the seller (because in the meantime he was no longer registered on eBay) now the seller claims that the package I received is not his, but according to the tracking provided by eBay the package shows as delivered.
What should I do in your opinion?

if in the details of your purchase, the tracking number entered matches the package received, open a return request for item not as described:
Return an item in exchange for a refund | eBay

first of all, thanks for the reply, basically the package has two tracking codes, the first from China to Italy, once it entered Italy it was handed over to the postal service, and so there is their tracking code, on the package I received there is this second code, in any case, even entering the code provided by eBay, the package shows as delivered.
