Seller indicates the price in the listing
Hi, a seller has listed an ad in an “online auction” format, starting at €5 (with a “buy it now” price of €160) and with free shipping, but in the body of the listing he indicated the selling price, setting it at €130
If, hypothetically, I took part in the auction and won it, paying the closing amount right away (let’s say €10), could the seller in any way demand the remaining €120?
In my opinion no, if you chose the online auction and it ends at a price, you can’t be asked for anything else, can you confirm?

Mentore2 years agoObviously he can’t demand anything more, but he’ll almost certainly cancel the sale and refuse to ship the item.
Better avoid taking part in these auctions with a reserve price set irregularly; it’s certainly not a good sign for the seller’s seriousness.
