The seller isn’t responding to me about replacing goods under warranty
Summary: The discussion concerns a problem that pormaus is facing with a vendor who is not responding regarding the replacement of a defective product under warranty. marioelegio participates by providing some answers, but there are no further details about how the situation develops.
4 months ago I bought some LED bulbs for my car. One of them no longer works, I contacted the seller by sending a photo of the problem, requesting a replacement under warranty. He asked me for a video to confirm the actual problem, telling me to use the email address on their website. I sent it but it never arrived, then he gave me a second email address, which turned out to be wrong, and with the third email he doesn't reply to me. For more than a week he hasn't even replied to the eBay chat. I'd like to get eBay involved, but there is no report button on the order details page.
I don't want to return everything or get a refund, just a replacement under warranty.

OP11 months agoThe problem isn't getting in touch with him, it's that he just doesn't answer me anymore.
And we're talking about a few euros for a lightbulb ... what a nice bunch of honest people ...

Mentore11 months agoAnyway, the only approved LED bulbs you can legally use on public roads can be found in Osram’s catalog, unfortunately not for all car models.

The other bulbs would only be usable for competitions, on roads closed to normal traffic.

Mentore11 months agoFor eBay procedures, 4 months is too much.
The eBay guarantee does not replace the seller’s guarantee (professional within the EU), but it only ensures that you will receive the item and that it matches the listing.
If it’s this one, you’ll find his phone number on every listing ....
