Hello, I hope someone can help me.I’m writing here mainly because Ebay no longer receives emails directly on the platform.I bought a Netatmo thermostat on October 22.After it arrived, I waited almost a week before installing it, and at that point I realized it wasn’t working: basically, the relay wouldn’t connect to the thermostat.I wrote to support, who asked me to make many attempts under various conditions and using different wifi networks and smartphones with different operating systems. All useless.So the company told me to contact the seller, which I immediately did. The seller replied, advising me to do a factory reset (as stated on the Netatmo website) and sent me the relevant link. He also specified that the item was used.This indication did not appear in the details of the item for sale, and it still does not appear now if I check my order details, so there may have been misleading advertising.In reality, the package that arrived seemed intact and sent by the manufacturer, but that’s not the issue.I replied to the seller, whom I discovered was a Polish seller named Matimeu, specifying that the solution he proposed was something I had already tried with Netatmo support. I also sent the seller all the emails exchanged with Netatmo, including the one in which a defect in the product was acknowledged and I was asked to contact the seller.Unfortunately, in the meantime the month during which I could have returned the product has passed, but I still asked the seller Matimeu to be able to return it and get a refund.The seller is not replying to my messages, and unfortunately I can’t find any channel to report what I consider to be the seller’s unfair behavior.Can someone help me with this or give me some advice on how I can take action against the seller in some way?I should add that unfortunately this time I did not pay through Paypal (which I almost always do).Thanks anyway to anyone who is willing and able to help me in any way.
