Seller not responding for warranty
Hello, 9 months ago I bought an electronic product from a professional seller. For the past two weeks, the product has no longer been working and the seller has never replied to the chat. As far as I understand, Ebay does not take care of providing assistance but at the same time does not provide either an email or a phone number, beyond the chat, for me to contact this seller and enforce my rights under the 2-year warranty. What can I do before taking legal action? Is there an Ebay email where, by providing proof of purchase and everything I have, I can get in touch and receive further contact details for the seller?
It seems so absurd to me that on this platform it is so easy to scam people.
Thank you.

Mentore1 year agoHello,
if the seller is truly a professional, in all of their listings, by law, they must have included VAT number, phone number, and email.
Check carefully, so you can contact them directly.
If it’s a non-EU professional you have no guarantee, if instead it’s the usual private seller pretending to be a professional to keep selling on eBay, you can only report them.
Kind regards.

OP1 year agoCan you tell me where I can find such data? For no registered professional seller on eBay can I find email and phone number in the information section.
Thanks

Mentore1 year agoIf you're on the app, you need to click the link "Registered as a professional seller", you'll find all the information.
If you're on a PC, when you open the listing, you need to scroll all the way down and you'll find the "Professional seller information".
Kind regards.
