Dishonest seller
On April 19, 2023 I paid 3.99 euros with Paypal for order 19 09959 07913 for a car manual from the seller manuali punto auto. I sent a message, in which I said that I was interested in buying the Manual for the Matiz M250 from 1000 cc, even though I have a Matiz from 800 cc, since the cars have 99% of parts in common. A simple indication. The seller instead refunded me the amount and justified it with a nonexistent reason. I wrote to him to explain that the reason he gave was nonexistent, and he replied by accusing me of having made a mistake in ordering a manual for a different car, as if it were up to him to decide which manual I should buy. He also banned me! I tried to submit a case to ebay for a dishonest seller, but ebay does not offer any such space, because for ebay a refunded order puts everything right, and absolves every seller from the wrongdoing they caused. This behavior by ebay deeply disappoints me. I would like the seller to be called out for dishonesty, since if he puts an item up for sale, it should not be up to him to refund it if it has been paid for and I have asked for neither a return nor a refund. The seller's behavior was offensive in substance and contrary to the spirit of selling ordered and rejected items. Why does ebay protect sellers by covering up their misconduct, and wash its hands of it after a refund, leaving the dishonest seller free to keep behaving dishonestly without a warning or feedback indicating a tendency toward dishonest behavior? There is a lot of hypocrisy in this way of acting. I have used ebay for almost 20 years, and I have always been 100% correct.
