Dishonest seller
Good morning everyone.
It’s my first time here, forgive me if this isn’t the right place but I haven’t found any other way to “report” it.
If you could point me in the right direction, I’d gladly accept the suggestion.
In recent days I bought a NEW item that, according to the listing, was supposed to be in the United Kingdom. Calculating the price of the item, shipping costs and customs duties, it still seemed like a good deal.
Eight days after the purchase the seller shipped it and provided the tracking code; following the tracking, to my surprise I noticed that the parcel is stuck in Dubai! After my first thought (wow, what a lucky parcel, lucky him) I began to suspect that on arrival I’d be hit with a nasty surprise in the form of customs duties equal to 100% of the item’s value (including shipping). Something that would not have happened with a purchase from England. In reality the package came from Pakistan.
I contacted the seller, who replies that he is willing to refund me 20 pounds as long as I change my feedback from negative to positive (praising the product which, moreover, is also poor quality, badly finished and with rusty internal parts). I’m not interested in asking for compensation, but I’d like to report this to ebay so they can take action and prevent other “suckers” like me from getting ripped off.
Do you have any idea how to report the listing? I tried through the listing link but according to the algorithm the listing doesn’t violate any rules... Is that possible?
Thank you all for any replies and suggestions.
Regards
