Dishonest seller
I bought a watch that arrived defective.. and in my opinion, not original either.
Given the bad experiences I’ve had in the past, I looked for sellers in the EU and found one in Ireland.
After the purchase, when I asked for the package tracking code, I found out that the package was coming from China.. that alone is incredibly dishonest.
In the listing it says that the seller covers the costs.
I asked for the item to be returned and, after a lot of runaround, he asked me to send him the amount I would have spent to send it back, which he said he would reimburse.
I send the amount, he accepts the return, and instead of sending me the money he goes on vacation and comes back on 14.02.24.
I’m trying to contact eBay to report the problem but I can’t find any way.
any advice?

Mentore2 years agoYou made a mess... since the return for an item not as described is always the seller's responsibility, if they didn't provide you with a shipping label within 4 days, you should have asked eBay to step in and the issue would probably have been resolved.
Now, it's very unlikely you'll be able to get a refund for the money spent on the return, and support won't be of any help at all.

I just want to get in touch with eBay to explain the situation

I contacted eBay and now they're stepping in.
