Distracted sellers..
Why do some sellers insist on keeping a listing for an item active even when they've run out of stock, exposing potential buyers to having their order canceled and their money tied up for days before the actual refund?

Mentore3 years agoGenerally, the "sold out" function serves to maintain the position in searches... but it shouldn’t be possible to buy it.
It’s different if you find out it’s sold out after the purchase... unfortunately, professional management of items isn’t that simple, especially if the seller also has a physical store or if they have centralized warehouses for drop shipping.
