Scam sellers
At 12:59 on 22/09 I send a request asking what type of 12v 150A gel battery would be sent for the purchase of 2 units. At 1:09 PM I receive photos of the 12v 150A gel batteries. At 2:10 PM I inform the seller of my two purchases. At 2:10 PM I receive a message saying that, in addition to always having them available, the shipment would leave on Monday 25/09. At 2:29 PM I receive a message saying that only the 100A and 120A are available, or the 200A ones (with an additional cost of €80). The 120A at the same price as the 150A.
I ask them to send me photos and technical specifications of the 120A and the 200A. Photos and specifications received; I point out to the seller that these are AGM batteries and not gel batteries and that the mistake (so to speak, but whoever wants to understand, will understand) is theirs and that they must make amends, since it is not my intention to spend more than what I have already paid.
Such behavior, bordering on fraud, must be severely punished and sellers of this very low level banned from Ebay.

OP3 years agoYes, thanks for the advice. I’ve already asked for a refund, but he’s pretending not to understand. I can’t cancel the order anymore.
As soon as possible I’ll open a dispute with Ebay. Bye.
