I win the auction and the seller cancels
hi everyone, I should say this had never happened to me before! Let me explain: yesterday morning I won an auction, after an hour I paid for everything, and in the afternoon I see that the seller canceled the order without any explanation. I sent the seller a message asking why he had done it, and he replies that he had made a mistake with the warehouse counts and therefore didn’t have the item. Strange situation in my opinion because in the meantime, in the auction listing, he had another identical model for sale. What I think is that unfortunately for him in this auction only a few people bid, about 3, so I managed to win it at a bargain price considering the value of the item, which I cared a lot about. He hadn’t entered a reserve price, maybe by mistake, so in my opinion it wasn’t convenient for him. So after I paid within the required time, he decided to cancel the sale. On top of that, now I have to wait 3/4 working days to get my money back with a refund. I’m asking you what I can do?

Mentore3 years agoNothing. If he canceled, he could do that. If there are any penalties, ebay will think about applying them.
