I complained that they should simply have rejected the offer and not made a fake one. I made a new offer, increasing it by 10 euros, same story, counteroffer identical to the published price. I wanted to understand whether this is a technique to get around the system and make it seem like offers are accepted for the item when in practice that isn't true. Also, doing it this way still increases the number of purchase inquiries in a misleading way.
