I’d like to know if there is a time limit that eBay sets as the deadline for a used item that doesn’t match the description
Let me explain: as a private seller, I sell a used item to a buyer.
is there a reasonable time after which the buyer can no longer claim that the item received was defective? could it happen that a private seller sells a used item, the buyer uses it for a while, damages it, and then opens a dispute saying the item was not working from the start...
ebay, which always protects the buyer, allows the return process to be opened for an item that is not working from the start within what time limit from delivery?

Mentore2 years agoAccording to eBay, the deadline is 30 days from receipt of the goods.
Then there’s PayPal, which has a 180-day deadline from payment, and some credit cards that extend the possibility of making a chargeback to up to one year.
In distance sales, on all platforms, since electronic payments are used, there is no way out if you run into a dishonest buyer.
