bank account identification issues
Hi everyone, eBay is asking me to update my receiving account, I sent the bank statement with IBAN, first and last name and transactions and it DOES NOT accept the bank statement because my residence address does not appear on it. What kind of nonsense is this?? The address is part of privacy, has anyone done this operation recently? It’s been 11 days that they’ve been sending me back and forth to the post office. Thanks to anyone who replies

Digital platform operators (like eBay, Vinted, Subito or Amazon marketplace), under the DAC7 directive, are required to collect, verify and (in some cases) send the sellers' tax data to the Revenue Agency.
So eBay already has your home address. If they ask you for this information again to verify the bank account, it means they are doing an additional check by cross-referencing the two pieces of data. Then as a seller you will still have to provide your address for any returns, so what does privacy have to do with it.

OPJul 18, 2026 at 11:48 AMEbay lets you upload only 1 photo,in the bank statement there are first and last name,iban ,branch number But they DO NOT DOWNLOAD onto the bank statement your residential address,which Ebay asks for. I went to the post office 4 times and they don't enter it subject to a request to the Ministry of the Interior. Result? EBAY WON'T LET ME CREDIT MY MONEY
