We professionals are being squeezed more and more... but they’re incentivizing collecting and the media, categories that have now lost out to private individuals...
Avoiding investing... maybe we would have had a bit more breathing room...
We fully understand the challenges sellers are facing, and we realize that any increase in fees is unwelcome news. However, as we continue to improve the experience to make eBay the most dynamic and reliable platform for both buyers and sellers, we are confident that sellers will continue to have a profitable and successful experience on eBay.
Good morning, excuse me, but these canned responses of yours are no longer bearable. You need to talk with the sellers to understand what a profitable experience is for them.
I don’t think you fully understand "our" challenges... otherwise you would have thought better of lowering fees... not raising them... like, for example, the store costs too... for those who want to grow, the costs are unsustainable considering that current sales have exponentially collapsed.
It’s been years that the platform has basically been identical, even though you keep insisting that our experience is better!
The experience is better when selling without bleeding us dry!
We continually invest in our platform to help you manage your business more efficiently and sell faster. As a result of these investments, we sometimes have to make changes to fees in order to continue providing you with quality products and services that help improve the performance of your listings and the buyers' search experience (from the announcement in News for professional sellers).
Please note that some categories will see their variable final value fee reduced and other categories will see their variable final value fee increased, however the fixed final value fee (0.35 euros per order) will not be affected by the change and will remain unchanged, as will the insertion fee.

·3 years agoWas it really necessary to increase the % for spare parts dealers? At least the fixed contribution of €0.35 could have been removed
