Huge delays in releasing the funds
Ebay is losing steam. I sold an item 20 days ago, the buyer received it a week ago, left feedback and notified ebay of receipt, but as of today the payment still hasn’t been released. If these are the timeframes, and if the certainty of getting the money is shaky, maybe it’s no longer worth selling on ebay ...

I've never used the option to pay for shipping through eBay
as the title says, I’m asking why this option is used, that is, if I choose, for example, buy shipping label, specifically €5.21, eBay withholds the amount, I print the label and go to the post office and it’s already paid, of course, or not? I mean, please explain the procedure to me properly, thanks.

eBay International Shipping - eBay discounted shipping options only available for domestic shipments?
Hi everyone, I'm based in Italy and I'm creating an eBay listing with international shipping enabled. For domestic shipping, when I click "Add shipping service", I can select eBay's discounted shipping services directly in the listing, with the same rates shown in eBay's shipping guide. However, in the "International shipping" section, those eBay shipping options do not appear. I can only choose standard services such as Poste Delivery Europe. My question is: If I publish the listing using Poste Delivery Europe as the international shipping service, will I still be able, after the item is sold, to buy an international shipping label through eBay's separate shipping-label platform at the discounted eBay rates? In other words, are the discounted label rates available regardless of the shipping service selected in the listing, or do I need to select a specific eBay shipping option in advance? Has anyone else experienced this? I'm trying to understand whether this is normal or whether there may be an issue with my account or listing settings. Thanks!

Item shipped via eBay with Postedelivery Business Standard has been in transit since June 22
I bought an old battery for a 1999 iBook G3, so of course it’s been dead for decades. I need it to complete an old Mac iBook G3 that’s missing exactly that part. The shipment was sent on June 22 and on June 25 it was in Modena, 17 km from the chosen pickup point in Sassuolo (the same one I’ve used for years for eBay purchases). But it stayed stuck in Modena until July 1, only to then be marked in Sassuolo that very same day. But it wasn’t delivered. Since the night of July 1 it’s been in Bologna and hasn’t moved from there since. I tried calling the Poste Italiane numbers (both the toll-free and the landline) but after waiting more than 15 minutes the operator told me they know no more than what shows up in the tracking, and that the sender has to file the complaint. Can anyone tell me which warehouses or sorting centers in Bologna handle that kind of shipment? Could I try calling, or would it be a waste of time?

For a long time there was the possibility of speaking with an eBay representative and solving problems. Now all that's left is chat, or rather a chat bot that often isn't much use. Issue: I place an order on eBay as I always have, I enter the fermopoint delivery address, I pay. The order shows as registered on eBay. I go to the pickup point but the package is listed under their name and they can't hand it over. They tell me to contact the seller (who doesn't जवाब) or eBay, which can't offer any solution except repeating 50 times that it should have been delivered to fermopoint. I paid, it shows the purchase was made by me. Now I'd like to know what to do. Can I at least get a refund? Thanks P.S. in the rare cases when I have sold, I always took care of everything myself and didn't drive the customer crazy.

Price adjustment for Poste Italiane shipping
Good morning everyone, I’ve been an eBay user for 27 years and I buy a lot of things here and sell what I no longer use. For the first time in all these years, I received a charge of 2.81 euros from Paclink for a shipment “price adjustment.” Basically, Poste Italiane claims that in a package with the dimensions I declared of 15 cm x 9 cm x 13 cm and 0.15kg (150gr) in weight, they found a difference, stating dimensions of 15 cm x 8.6 cm (even 4 mm less than what I declared) x 13 cm but with a weight of a whopping 5.55kg (!!) 😱 In response to my complaints, Paclink support replied that only if you are in possession of photographic documentation showing the contents of the parcel (in my case a turntable cartridge!!), the dimensions with a tape measure, and the weight with a scale, can you get a refund for the theft. Otherwise, nothing. What nonsense. What on earth would a package like that have to contain to weigh more than 5 and a half kilos?? Lead!

Pick-up point - how to inform the buyer?
Hi, I’m missing something. I’ve only recently started using this method as an optional shipping choice, however buyers choose it (because it costs less) but don’t tell me which pickup point they want. It’s obvious that asking every time is annoying and they often reply that they made a mistake and to ship it to their home, Setting any one without their knowledge, I think, is risky because they won’t pick it up! How do you let them know before or after purchase that the information is required? Do I have to write it in all the listings? Thanks
