Bartolini shipment with tracking suspended
I sold an item on 7.8.2026. For convenience and safety, I use Ebay Shipping. I asked the buyer via eBay messaging whether they preferred Poste Italiane or Bartolini. They chose Bartolini. I hurried to print the label, pack the item, and deliver it to the Bartolini drop-off point on the same day, 8.8.2026. On 10.8.2026 the physical courier picked up the package. I don’t know for what mix-up or error, the tracking has no further updates beyond the two mentioned above. But the tracking number is present on eBay and you can see the two initial updates. I thought it was a display issue that hadn’t yet been updated with the latest events and I asked both the Bartolini point (which confirmed that the courier had picked up the package regularly) and then I called the call center, which asked me to write in (because over the phone they don’t know what to say). I also filed a complaint via PEC, but I still haven’t had a response. Meanwhile today the buyer immediately opened a dispute for item not received and eBay sent me an automatic message telling me to issue a refund. I’m not at fault at all. I used the shipping service the buyer wanted, used Ebay Shipping (a paid internal service), used their label, did everything RUSHED to get delivery as soon as possible and keep everyone happy, and now I’m stuck with both the buyer and eBay threatening me. What do you recommend I do?

good morning, what’s this new thing????? on my last 2 purchases on 14/8 I found a charge of 1 euro each without notice and without my authorization. has this happened to anyone else? thanks

Packlink charges me an extra €22 + VAT for a package under 2 kg that they say weighs 30 kg!!!
Good morning Packlink from Ebay sent me a price adjustment for a shipment today Declared: Volumetric Weight 1.63 Kg/m3 / 34cm x 24cm x 8cm. Actual: Volumetric Weight 30.03 kg/m3 / 42.5cm x 36cm x 78.5cm. Reason for the adjustment: Surcharge for excess Volumetric Weight Kg/m3. The volumetric weight audited by the carrier is higher than what was declared by the user. The surcharge amounts to 22.04 euros + VAT So according to them, a book that weighed less than 2 kg, with a label created directly by Ebay and a regular invoice, actually weighed 30 kg. This happened almost two months after the shipment. To contest this charge, they are asking me for a photo of the package on a scale, showing its weight, with the label clearly visible, which I didn't take at the time. It seems unbelievable. Has anyone run into a situation like this? Thanks

Bartolini shipping problems! Is anyone having delays or blocks?
Hi, is anyone experiencing shipping delays or blocks with Bartolini? Personally, I’ve never had any problems since I started using it; I’ve been using eBay shipping services for years and since Posta 1 came out I’ve always used BRT for shipments, and they go out daily in batches. However, the shipments sent on August 10, 11, and 12 all show as sent but haven’t even arrived at the destination branch; they left the local BRT hub and are listed as in transit, so they’ve correctly entered the courier’s network, but almost all of them are at another hub that here in Calabria is one of the most important ones, latest update there. I’m talking about about 30 shipments, only one delivered and thank goodness I alternated with SDA, sending many parcels with that service too, even though it costs me more.... At the moment I’ve stopped using BRT, I don’t know, maybe there are delays due to the holidays, shipment backlogs, etc., it’s very hard for me to think that 30 shipments could all go missing, blocked .... I’m trying to figure out whether any other seller like me has been experiencing similar problems lately, I’m pretty worried.

Personally, I have an account with a delivery delay of 0.18%, but I still prefer a 2-3 day window to ensure more honest and accurate estimates.
