Buyer (who still hasn't paid) with a "weird" address
Hi everyone, I’m making my very first sale here on eBay.
I recently sent out the offers to buy on my listing because I needed to sell quickly, and a buyer purchased the item on Wednesday the 25th.
The problems are two:
1) I still haven’t received payment from him;
2) in the invoice details, his address doesn’t appear to be valid. The street in the listed municipality is wrong, and the postal code is wrong too (the postal code is even 3 digits).
Meanwhile, I sent him a message this morning and I’m still waiting for a reply.
How should I handle this? Thanks in advance.

·2 years agoI notice that you’ve entered shipping with pickup point and/or local pickup (that is, in person).
I’d be worried that the buyer, realizing they’ll have to go to a pickup point and not receive the item at home, might want to back out of the purchase.
Wait for them to contact you, or better yet, contact them yourself.
If needed, cancel the sale for non-payment.

·2 years agoIt’s not clear whether the buyer has paid or whether you expect to receive the money in your account right away.
Either way, this can be resolved like this:
Go here: https://www.ebay.it/sh/ord/?filter=status:ALL_ORDERS
For the item you sold, click on "order details" and/or "order number"
If the buyer has made the payment, you’ll see their shipping address.
If the buyer has made the payment, you’ll see that the order is complete and the funds are available, and you’ll also see the eBay fees that were applied to you.
At this point you can go ahead and ship the item.
If, when checking the shipping address, you noticed an incorrect address only in the postal code (which still corresponds to the area you need to ship to) but the city and street match, you can safely correct the postal code.
If, on the other hand, you noticed that the postal code actually belongs to another area of Italy, maybe a very distant one, then it may be a good idea to ask the seller first and then, if necessary, eBay support.
Keep in mind that if you are a new seller, the funds will not be available right away, but you will have to wait at least a couple of weeks before they are credited to your account.

the full address, you will only be able to see it once payment has been made.
So, until they pay, I wouldn't worry about it.
