Purchase shipping label
Good morning, I apologize for my inexperience, but I sold books whose buyer selected the "Pieghi di libri" shipping option as I had set during the listing setup. However, when I go to buy the label from the shipping manager, it only lets me pay for Posta 1 with a much higher price (6.34). It’s not clear to me where I’m going wrong...

·3 years agoSo to sum up
You offer the piego libri service for 1.28 euros
the posta1 service for 5.50 euros
The buyer purchased by choosing the posta1 service
If you want to ship with posta1 you have to go to the post office to send the shipment.
When you write that from the shipping manager it lets you purchase the posta 1 service for 6.34 euros, there must obviously be an error in the transcription phase since that service is not offered by the shipping manager.
Best regards.

OP3 years agoLet me correct myself, it was web delivery.
The buyer had chosen Book parcels but the label that can be purchased refers only to that method. Thanks a lot.

·3 years agoGood morning,
booklet rate isn't found in eBay's shipping manager...
If you want to use this shipping method (warning, it's not trackable!!), you need to go directly to the post office.
Kind regards.

From eBay's shipping manager it is not possible to purchase postal services such as posta1, posta4, raccomandata or piego libri.
From the shipping manager, the postal service that can be purchased is the posta delivery web service, which is the courier one.
If you need to ship with the posta1 service or piego libri, you must go to the post office and have the shipment sent from there.
Kind regards.

Anyway, even if it had been possible to buy the book parcel from the shipping provider, you would still have had to go to the post office to hand in the padded envelope / package.
Or at most you would have had to drop the book in a mailbox.
For packages without tracking, I don’t recommend the mailbox, as the chances of the parcel not reaching its destination increase.
Many years ago, I often used to drop padded envelopes with material inside into the mailbox with 1200-lira priority mail stamps, and very often they never reached their destination; instead, when I took them directly to the post office, everything went fine.
Kind regards.
