I bought an item and entered the debit card details correctly. When I send the payment, the message "select another payment method" appears, even though the card is enabled for that payment. I tried contacting eBay both by phone and by chat, with no result. What do you recommend I do to make the payment? Thanks

·3 years agoIf you have a Paypal account linked to your eBay account, add the card to your Paypal account and then pay the amount on eBay through it. For Paypal, even just 1 simple postepay from which to withdraw the funds is enough.
If instead you don't have a Paypal account linked to eBay or you couldn't link it (I see from this profile that you've been registered for about 6 months) you should try using another card.

·3 years agoBy enabled, do you mean that the card has been linked to your mobile phone, on which you receive SMS messages with the temporary code for verifying the transaction (3d secure security system)?

OP3 years agoI entered my card details on the eBay site and tried to pay, then I called customer service and they told me it had been a problem on their end, which they later fixed for me, and finally I was able to pay with the card. Problem solved
