Hi everyone, in December I bought an item from a U.S. seller.
the seller used the Ebaty shipping program. so I also paid VAT and customs fees in advance.
as of today, after doing some tracking checks, I see the following wording in the tracking history:
DELIVERY IMPOSSIBLE !!!! well, no courier has come to my place, the package left the eBay shipping center in the USA "GLENDALE HEIGHTS, IL" on 13/01/25 . it passed all the relevant checks also on 13/01/25 and until today nothing was showing.
this morning, with a nice red message, the wording above appears: DELIVERY IMPOSSIBLE. what does it mean ???? what are they doing ?? among other things they also changed the expected delivery dates to my destination, moving them 15 days from today is there some kind soul who can tell me what to do? also because I can't open a dispute for an item never received until another month has passed from today.

·1 year agoThe only thing they have in common is that both go through customs; for the one shipped from the US, you’ve already paid what’s due, for the other you’ll probably have to pay upon delivery.

·1 year agoFrom Vietnam? But didn’t you say it was leaving from the United States and the seller used the international shipping service? I doubt that service is available from Vietnam.

OP1 year agoI also have another shipment from vis that hasn’t arrived. I confused the two.
Unfortunately, the one from vis was sent with tracked mail, so I have to wait and see.
While the one from the United States is with the eBay program, so I was asking in common news

Try entering the tracking on the parcelsapp site and see if it gives you more detailed tracking.

Have you managed to get any more information about the tracking.
If your parcel comes from outside Europe and has to go through Italian Post customs, you’ll have to wait because they’re usually always congested.
It could also take up to 1 month to wait.
Keep an eye on the tracking and see if the situation unblocks in the next few days.

OP1 year agoAbsolutely not, what I see on eBay trading is the same thing I see on your link.
The package comes from Vietnam, shipped at the beginning of December. The Italian carrier is Poste Italiane.
I contacted them too and they told me that it’s definitely stuck in customs.
Well….let’s hope it arrives.
In the meantime, thank you very much.
I’ll keep an eye on the tracking. We’ll see.
