Help with shipping a small item
Hi everyone, I'm new on ebay and this is the first time I'm selling. I was thinking of putting the item, in this case a cartridge for a Nintendo DS game, in a yellow envelope. For shipping I’d like to rely on ebay shipping, but it only gives me UPS with a total shipping cost of 11.20 euros. The shipment is to France, is that a reasonable price?
Thanks in advance for the support.

OP1 year agoOk, my doubts were mainly because in the end I’m sending a yellow envelope and not a package in the true sense of the word, made of cardboard. Thanks anyway!

·1 year agothe only item you've sold shows me that you set 15 eur shipping to France...... question: aren't 11.20 eur enough?
anyway, whether it's appropriate or not, you have to calculate the shipping costs when you post the listing, after that it's too late.....

OP1 year agoYes, I set it to 15 euros because I didn’t know how to calculate them before posting the listing. Do I always have to calculate them in advance with eBay shipping?

·1 year agoeBay shipping has nothing to do with it in this case, since you don’t have to use eBay’s shipping manager обязательно (for example, if you want, you can also go to the post office or use another shipping manager, among the many available on the Web)
here we're talking about the eBay listing: basically you need to have the shipping prices very clear before putting the item up for sale, since once it’s sold, you have to ship it at the stated shipping price (unless you decide to cancel the order, but in that case you get a defect from eBay, with all the consequences that entails......see the rules specifically)
then if you find a service where you pay less..... good for you, otherwise if you set low shipping costs and then pay more, obviously that’s your problem ......
