I’d like to talk with you about an unpleasant situation that has come up (the first in 20 years of buying and selling).
a user buys a collector edition of a game that I regularly ship in its Brown box (NEVER OPENED).
the shipment arrives and the user immediately complains that the Brown box isn’t the right one (there are simply two BRT labels on top), that the game box has a broken seal, and that the game inside is missing (strangely, the very item with the most value among everything in the package).
Besides heavily insulting me via whatsapp, threatening to open a dispute on ebay, and asking me for a €50 refund to settle it amicably, he doesn’t want to hear any reason that it would be right to discuss what to do because in that case we are both the injured party (me for having sold a complete and new item and him for having received something different).
When I asked him to show me a video during the opening of the package, he no longer replied, and I assume he will definitely act through Ebay. What do you recommend I do in this case?
I do have a suspicion, but while he called me a scammer, I prefer not to jump to conclusions. 🙏 Thanks everyone.

I don't know if the game is this one, but anyway I assume it is, so correct me if I'm wrong.
Question: Why do you say the package has BRT stickers on it?
You didn't actually ship the original package directly, applying the shipping label without putting it in an additional box to preserve the original one, did you?
If that's the case, you may have run into a picky user who wasn't happy with the service.
Given the sale price of 155 euros in the purchase offer, if the original cardboard box shown in the photo is damaged and/or different from the one in the photos, I advise you to make it up to him.
If he opens a dispute for item not received, he sends everything back except the game, so I think you could end up losing more than 50 euros.
Consider the possibility that the package may have been opened somewhere during the journey because the label visible in the photo shows its contents (in case you shipped that box exactly as visible in the photo).
Or if you shipped it to some pick-up point, it may have been tampered with there.
Obviously I made a hypothetical reconstruction, but maybe the item isn't that one, the price isn't that one, and the package was placed inside an additional parcel.
