Avete problemi con Packlink? Poste Delivery Standard, BRT
I've always shipped with Poste Delivery Standard, bringing the packages in person to the Post Office... which is very convenient for me... but for some time now Packlink has been preventing me from continuing to ship with Poste Delivery Standard... I don't understand why... and it directs me to BRT as the only option.
Is something similar happening to anyone else?
I asked eBay support, and they told me to contact Packlink.
Then I contacted Packlink, and they told me to contact eBay.

I saw just yesterday that the shipping rates on the eBay shipping manager have been changed.
If you drop off the package in person at the post office then you ordered poste delivery web, otherwise poste delivery standard is SDA to re-deliver it at home and it also costs more.

Log in with the eBay account where you sold the item, you should already find the order on eBay, if it’s not there just create it with a new shipment.
The service you use should appear at the top of the ranking among the cheapest services together with BRT.
BE CAREFUL because there are two delivery services to the post office, one does not deliver to the buyer’s home and the other does home delivery.
So read carefully, I’ll put an example here in a photo.
The cheapest service does not offer home delivery.

·2 years agoyesterday, unable to select post office shipping for two bulky parcels, I went directly to poste.it and discovered that, for not better specified reasons of service restructuring, parcels over a certain size are picked up at home or nothing. so the problem is not packlink, but the post.

my package was 60 x 30 x 30, it doesn't seem that bulky to me.
in the past I’ve sent much bulkier packages with the Post Office.
and I’ve never had any problems.
besides, it’s actually BRT that causes problems with bulky packages.
the BRT pickup point I just went to doesn’t accept packages over 60 x 40 x 20.

·2 years agoThe standard postal deliveries, if I’m not mistaken, are up to 20kg, so it’s plausible that a volumetric weight up to 20kg can also be shipped.
if you shipped a 60 x 30 x 30 parcel, that corresponds to a volumetric weight of about 11kg, so you shouldn’t have any acceptance problems at any post office.
Anyway, what user it2015-inno says is correct, since not all post offices are authorized to accept bulky parcels; the post offices that do accept them are only 2500, so in that case it’s better to check first.
Regarding BRT Fermopoint, it depends on the Fermopoint: if it’s newsstands or tobacco shops, they’re likely to make a fuss even about medium-sized parcels, so if you need to ship something heavy, it might be better to sort it out and spend 1 euro more to have the courier come pick it up, so as to avoid inconvenience and wasted time.
If you said that the BRT Fermopoint where you were accepts up to 60x40x20, we’re talking about a volumetric limit of 10kg.

OP2 years agoexactly, if my parcel was 60 x 30 x 30, with a weight of 5 kg, why didn't Packlink give me the Poste Delivery Standard option? moreover, that was the option I had indicated in the listing.
Packlink support didn't give me any explanation.

·2 years agoNext time, do some tests to understand whether there is a weight limit on the shipment or whether it’s some other kind of technical problem.
Basically, if you see that with the 60x30x30 measurements it doesn’t generate the shipping label for you, do a simulation by changing the dimensions, for example to 20x20x10, to see whether with those dimensions the shipment is accepted or not.
If you see that the label is generated, then it means that on that cap there is a limit on the maximum dimensions, so either you reduce the size of the package or you need to use another shipping service.

·2 years agoYou’re certainly not obliged to use Packlink, you can find some other shipping broker on the internet that uses the system you prefer.

OP2 years agobut when eBay tells me that an item is PAID FOR AND TO BE SHIPPED, it automatically directs me to Packlink, it doesn't let me choose between different brokers. and only if I ship with Packlink does the SHIPPED label appear right away.
