Good morning, information for shipping with Fermopoint! Thanks in advance
Summary: il-curioso-collezionista asked for information regarding shipments with fermopoint. Several participants responded, but the specific details of the responses were not provided.
Good morning everyone, I’m a new seller and I still need to really understand certain shipping dynamics. I’ve set up two options: 1) Poste with home delivery 2) Poste pickup point (to be clear, the two eBay Poste services). When the buyer selects a pickup point, I panic. It happens that the buyer selects home delivery and then enters the pickup point; when the label is created through Packlink, it is created with an incomplete address and support tells me that home delivery is incompatible with the pickup point. I’d like to understand how to proceed with shipping, even though I specified not to use pickup points, some buyers keep entering the pickup point by mistake and I’m sorry to have to cancel orders. Thanks in advance to anyone who replies to me

·1 year agoHi, while I'm at it... speaking of parcel lockers, does anyone know how eBay "handles" it if a buyer says they didn't receive the item that was shipped, but the order details show it was picked up from the parcel locker? In short, can that code added to the address be equated to a delivery code like the one for Posta1? Is it sufficient proof of delivery?? 🤔

OP1 year agoGood morning, after losing an order because of a tobacconist (post office pickup point), I followed your advice, thank you

·1 year agoNo, the eCP code is only for the Fermopoint manager to be able to notify, via the FP console, the buyer that their shipment has arrived at the FP they chose, a notification that comes via email or SMS, and later, once it has been collected, again from the console, to confirm that it has been picked up; in the event of a dispute, the only valid code is the tracking code of the chosen carrier, which also shows when it was delivered to the Fermopoint and when and if it was picked up from it.

·1 year agothis problem occurs for all couriers since packlink changed the label design. you can disable the service as suggested to you or correct the label by hand.

If you haven’t disabled the Fermopoint shipping service in the options, then the buyer is right when they choose to have the item shipped to a Fermopoint.
On your next order, remove the Fermopoint option from the auctions, just like in the link that sika700 posted
Yes, there are incompatibilities with eBay shipping and Fermopoint addresses.
To get around the issue and avoid cancelling the sale and risking negative feedback, you can bypass eBay shipping and send it directly to a post office.
Or try asking support whether BRT has the same problems you’re getting with Poste Italiane, or alternatively ask whether UPS or DHL are okay.
Alternatively, try using another shipping service or ship directly through the post office.
To get the full shipping address, go to the order details.

·1 year agoGood evening,
go here:
Shipping preferences
and disable the Pickup Point option; it’s the first one at the top.
Kind regards.

OP1 year agoI’ll take advantage of your availability to clear up a doubt. If I disable this option, am I disabling only the Fermopoint, or also the Poste Italiane pickup points? Thanks

·1 year agoThe shipment to Fermopoint is causing problems.
Before, during, and after.
Solution: remove it from the sales options immediately...

·1 year agoCurious collector, run like the wind from those fixed points. Ship it yourself with a conventional service. Pack it up on your own, don’t delegate anyone to do anything else. Remember the old proverb: if you want something done right, do it yourself! Kind regards

OP1 year agoI tried every possible way to write in the description not to enter a Fermopoint address after choosing home delivery, but nothing. I understand that it may be more convenient, but in that case I specifically say to choose a Poste Italiane pickup point address...but many people don't read or don't want to accept the instructions anyway.
