change bank for sales credits

Good morning everyone.

I was thinking of switching banks; for the transfer of the ebay mandate (both incoming and outgoing), do I absolutely have to notify it on the ebay platform, or is it enough if I transfer the mandate by cancelling it from the first bank's online banking to activate it on the second one, like the utility bills I handle without writing on the telecom platform etc..

Thanks for any definite info.
