Throughout the conversation, there are several interactions between different participants, including maberga_00, sika700, and heavenwelkin, although the specific details of the messages are not clear in the provided content. It is noted that several participants respond in sequence, suggesting an ongoing exchange about the topic mentioned.
Hello,
I'm dealing with a serious problem with a sale on eBay and I'd like to know if anyone has had similar experiences. I sold a T-shirt to a buyer who, while the package was still in transit, opened a return request with the reason “item not received”.
Despite the fact that I correctly marked the shipment as sent, and the package was then delivered as normal (as shown by the tracking), eBay still approved the refund to the buyer. Now he has both the money and the T-shirt and is no longer responding to my messages.
I tried contacting eBay support, but I'm not getting any real help. Is there anything I can do to report the buyer's abuse or recover the item or the money? Thanks to anyone who can give me some advice.

·1 year agook, thanks for the info.
I was referring to a different experience then.
I’ll list the problems I ran into with posta1 shipping in my latest purchase, but I already know the platform won’t do anything to fix it:
1) sellers who on electronics items over 30 euros set the default shipping to "free" with standard poste1 so that their price seems competitive compared to others.
2) if you buy on the mobile app, you don’t see the list of shipping options but only the one chosen by the seller (poste 1 standard in this case, nicely visible in green with the word free) and if you’re not used to placing orders often on ebay, you assume that an item like that is shipped like 99.9999% of the packages people buy online today, that is, tracked.
3) (offtopic) I asked the seller to be decent and set courier shipping as the default for that type of item, and as a reply he blocked me.
4) My feedback will become negative at this point, but I’m CERTAIN that somehow it won’t be published after 5 days because the seller is big and makes the platform a lot of money. Want to bet?
5) Unfortunately ebay is to be avoided like the plague...and I regret it.

·1 year agoCVD... I had left neutral feedback for the seller (winmar) and it mysteriously disappeared.
It’s not the first time. Ebay is ridiculous... it protects sellers. Amazon is light-years ahead.

You're deluding yourself... They handle their own (sold and shipped by them) directly... You’ll never read certain feedback
heavenwelkin
·1 year agoThere is no point in you writing the seller's name to whom you left the feedback that ebay deleted.
In the guidelines you will not find references to the behavioral rules to follow when interacting with other users in public contexts.

·1 year agoYOU HAVE TO SHIP BY COURIER! just these days I’m about to leave neutral feedback for a seller who, in my opinion, is being sneaky because he puts prices with "free shipping" for electronics that are notoriously "snapped up" if they’re not tracked. The buyer assumes the shipment is tracked and offered for free, so they choose his product that seems more convenient than others, but then there’s a Neapolitan catch underneath.
YOU HAVE TO MAKE THE DEFAULT SHIPPING THE ONE WITH THE COURIER! Unless you’re selling a Chinese trinket.
Also, try buying from the app: it doesn’t list all the shipping methods like when you order from the PC, but you have to click on it to see the paid shipping (with courier).
They’re tricks and gimmicks that eBay is known for, but the seller is also being sneaky himself.
I usually stay away from eBay because whenever I buy something I always end up with a sour taste in my mouth sooner or later.
Try to be more fair next time and you’ll see that these problems won’t happen to you.
ps: the item did arrive for me, but I fell out of the clouds when yesterday I read "delivered" and nobody had rung my doorbell. I told the seller that the item had arrived, but I also told him that either he makes the courier the default for that kind of item or I’ll leave my mark on the feedback in 5 days.

·1 year agoGood morning medlav75
The "seller" who opened this discussion has backed off from continuing the conversation.
If you go look at his profile, out of 5 feedback ratings he already got one negative from a buyer who complains that the shirt differs in some "essential" features, so in my opinion we're dealing with a seller who does dropshipping and who has very likely never had the goods he's selling in his hands.
This kind of user is toxic and ruins the buying experience for unsuspecting purchasers, but sooner or later he will be banned from the platform and won't be able to set foot there anymore with his tax code.
It's just a matter of time.
If you order something from a seller who does dropshipping, you probably won't know what shipping you're going to get because if the item comes from China, you'll probably see the courier delivery through binoculars.....
Best regards.

·1 year agoGood morning Heavenwelkin, your patience is admirable, but both the user you just replied to and the one who started this thread have previously insulted community members quite a lot, with insinuations that were as gratuitous as they were foolish (to put it mildly) about them, so honestly if I were you I wouldn’t dwell on it too much and would let them "boil in their own broth".

·1 year agoWhen you don’t know what to cling to, you fall back on the famous “envy”...
The person who replied to you also asked questions that, as already pointed out, serve to clarify the situation and explain eBay’s behavior... was the T-shirt sold via drop shipping shipped with postage 1?
If so, I’d say that explains what happened.
As for not judging the book by its cover, let’s leave that to ade, a user with a private account who only sells new products, she’ll surely be interested.

·1 year agoHere below are all the disadvantages of the so-called dropshipping: slim profit margins. To make a decent profit, you have to find a reliable and affordable dropshipper, which is like finding (nowadays) an elephant like Dumbo. No private label: you can’t create a custom brand. Which means being just a generic seller in the market. Standardization of items: if you sell common consumer products or products from international brands, your profit margins are almost negligible.
You’d have to keep prices very low and competitive, which brings us back to the previous point. Availability of dropshipping suppliers: here this procedure is little known and people often flounder in total confusion. Moreover, companies aren’t organized to handle requests from intermediaries and online resellers. Not to mention the risks this activity entails. There are already a ton of problems in traditional sales, let alone with droppshipping! The classic TV series type where I go looking for trouble but I don’t know how it will end. Best regards

·1 year agoIf I order a T-shirt today, December 14, is it expected to arrive on January 13/16...
Are you by any chance doing drop shipping?
cizeta1964
·1 year agoHi heavenwelkin, when the poster receives questions that are too "sensitive" they stop replying, believing that this will solve the problem...

OP1 year agoGood evening Cizeta1964, honestly I don't understand how you decided to answer in my place without knowing the facts. After all, I think it's normal that a person doesn't spend the afternoon on the ebay community, especially to reply to things like this. I don't understand how you decided to make a fool of yourself by replying like this.. where are you trying to get to?
I wrote to get advice, not to receive embarrassing comments like this last one. Don't comment if you have the slightest idea of what the reality is.
Have a good evening, hugs.
sika700
·1 year agoThen explain the reality yourself... since you voluntarily put yourself out there on a public forum.
Your silence confirms what has already been pointed out, namely your unlawful conduct.
You shouldn't be bothered by replies like this if you're convinced you're in the right.
maberga_00
OP1 year agoMy silence confirms a social life, on Saturday afternoon. I don't understand how you can accuse me of things that aren't true just to probably make yourself look good. I opened up on a public forum to get some help, but unfortunately, I got a response from people who are probably jealous and incompetent. I'm closing this discussion here, I wish you all good growth.
sika700
·1 year agoJealous of what?
Of selling illegally and being certain of a tax audit from GdF and AdE next year?
Come on... don't be childish, the silence referred to the lack of explanation of your sales system... as for social life on Saturday night, I don't think you're really any better than others...
maberga_00
OP1 year agoSo not replying nowadays means being able to take up the reply however one prefers? And exactly, how would you be sure of what you’re saying? Don’t you think you’re exaggerating? I thought I could get some help, but apparently all I found were just a bunch of comedians. Thanks for making this Saturday night richer with a few laughs ( I wouldn’t take that as a compliment ) .
Good evening

·1 year agoI wrote to receive advice, not to receive embarrassing comments like this last one.
Embarrassment is very subjective; personally, I find it more embarrassing to ask questions but not give answers, in a public community, open to everyone; and to sell new items in quantity while calling yourself a "private seller", when it’s obvious that you’re not. It’s called tax evasion, and that really is very embarrassing.
maberga_00
OP1 year agoEvidence often isn’t the mouthpiece of truth. And since you like being a philosopher so much, remember not to judge a book by its cover. Regards
sika700
·1 year agoBut this time the evidence is as clear as day... you're certainly not an open book... you're an illegal squatter, a tax evader, a parasite living off those who pay taxes for you too.
Isn't that true?
Disprove these claims, but if you don't have a VAT number the game is already over!
cizeta1964
·1 year agoYour listings have very long delivery times; where do the T-shirts you sell come from?
heavenwelkin
·1 year agoGood afternoon marco_bergamaschi
Which courier did you use to ship the shirt?
Did you perhaps send a 70-euro shirt by posta1, as shown in the auction......
Posta 1 is an untracked shipment, so in the event of a dispute there can be risks......
Please provide a few more details about the matter.
In how many days was the shirt delivered?
What does the posta 1 delivery result say?
Unfortunately, unlike a courier or registered mail, with posta 1 the postman can leave the envelope in the mailbox or near it without needing to ring the bell.
So the delivery of the envelope may not be handed directly into the recipient's hands, and they could say they never received it.
Kind regards.
sika700
·1 year agoHello,
let’s say that this time you described what happened better.
I don’t see why ebay refunded anyway if you had proof of shipment... did you enter the tracking in your sale details and request proof of delivery from the courier?
Try appealing:
Appeal against eBay's decision on a return or an item not received - sellers | eBay
Also, be careful about what you sell and how you sell it... with a private account you look like an illegal seller...
Best regards.
