Confirm label purchase and BRT pickup
Good morning, yesterday I bought a BRT home pickup label through eBay shipping, so Packlink.
The confirmation email with the label to print arrived from Packlink as usual, but I did not receive any confirmation for the home pickup from BRT.
Is that normal?

·2 years agoBRT probably sent a pickup notice to whoever bought the shipment.
But it’s not you...
Packlink is actually a broker that buys shipments from carriers and resells them to the public.
The “real” sender is therefore PackLink, which, through triangulation, sends someone to pick up the package at your home while remaining the party named on the transaction with BRT.
That’s why, if there are any problems (delays, releases, lost packages, etc.), you have to contact PackLink: they have full access to the shipment with the couriers.

OP2 years agoYeah, I know there are two options and I selected home pickup.
Anyway, everything’s fine, the courier came by and the package has already arrived, but I just found it odd that BRT hadn’t sent any confirmation for the booking.

·2 years agoWhen you make the purchase on ebay-packlink, the first option it gives you is delivery to a pickup point.
You need to check what kind of option you selected because otherwise the courier might never come to pick it up if you chose delivery to the pickup point.

next to the shipment you purchased, click on "see details"
if in the details it says "acceptance point" it means that you have to go and drop off the package yourself.
