Mondial Relay courier in Italy
A customer asked me for Mondial Relay as a shipping method, but I can’t find any pickup points in Italy, does anyone know how to help me?

·3 years agoTell them that from Italy Mondial Relay isn't served like it is in France. Opt for more reliable couriers like DHL, UPS, TNT or FeDex or, at the very least, also the Italian postal service.
Best regards.

·2 years agoI’ve used it twice for purchases from France.
In France, Mondial Relay works well like InPost in Italy (if we want to make a comparison)
But if you go outside France, things aren’t all sunshine and roses because then the parcel is handed over to Hermes Germany, which then passes it on to another Italian shipping company based in Milan, which then passes it on to a national courier (sda, gls, etc)
So you end up with the initial tracking provided by mondial realy, which may not work correctly since in the final handoff the courier applies its own tracking, which may turn out to be untrackable......
This was the case two years ago, I also made a post about it; in the meantime I don’t know whether things have changed / improved.
Best regards.

·3 years agoMondial Relay is a low-cost courier service widespread in France. In Italy it does not have a distribution network and usually parcels sent with this courier are delivered in Italy by SDA. It is not possible to determine what would happen the other way around (that is, to know with whom to ship so that the parcel is delivered in France by Mondial Relay).
