This has never happened to me before, the recipient is telling me that there is an error in the address he entered to make the purchase.
The package is stopped, how can I modify the address .

If tracking shows an error due to an incorrect or incomplete address, after a storage period the package will come back to you.
The buyer will then open a dispute for item not received and there you'll have to deal with it.
If you lose the dispute, you'll be out the shipping costs because the item is then returned to you after the storage period.
If you win the dispute, you won't have to refund the buyer, and as far as eBay is concerned, the matter ends there.
So weigh whether it's worth avoiding complications and see if you can release the shipment by contacting the courier.
If you shipped through Packlink, you can't do it.
So you need to tell the buyer that if they want, they should try going to the provincial sorting center where the package is being held to pick it up in person.

·1 year agofirst of all: if the buyer entered an incorrect shipping address on Ebay, it is their problem in case of failed delivery...
then, as indicated by Sika: if possible, you can contact the courier to see if you can "reroute" the package (without additional charges, I add), otherwise wait for the package to be returned and refund the buyer minus the costs incurred (if you're not familiar with it, it is advisable to contact Ebay support.... hoping to find adequate help..... )

if the package is being held, contact the courier to redirect the package.
It would be better to have it returned to you, refund the buyer minus the shipping costs incurred, and if they still want the item they can repurchase it by correcting the address before confirming the purchase.
