I need to ship it, but I don't have a printer. What do I do?
Summary: The discussion concerns the issue of having to ship a package without access to a printer. The participants share advice and experiences on how to deal with this problem, suggesting possible alternatives and solutions.
They’re asking me to print the label to put on the package; if needed, can I write it by hand and use the adhesive to stick it on the package?

·1 year agoboo, I was really hurt 😞 by all the rude replies I didn’t deserve, I don’t think I was rude, if I bothered you I’m sorry, have a nice evening

·1 year agoI don't think you got rude replies, maybe a bit incredulous; in the year of our Lord 2025, not having a printer is pretty anachronistic. On the other hand, as they told you, that's how it works with ebay...

·1 year agoOn eBay, among many other things, they also sell printers...

·1 year agoreally? I thought they sold printers, how strange, I thought only candy, sweets, etc... it's just that buying a printer just for eBay kind of bugs me, but I'll think about it because you see, on other sites I get the label printed at the post office point and ship from there, here instead it only gave me the home pickup option but the price with the post was too high so I chose BRT but I need the label, but I sorted it out, a friend is printing it for me for now..thanks

·1 year agoAlternatively, you can save the label, put it on a USB stick (it’s a pdf format) and take it to a copy shop to have it printed.
Kind regards.

·1 year agoI was having the same problem and I was wondering whether, when it asks me to receive the label, I have to print it to get it, or whether by clicking receive label it appears and I can save it to print it later, since I don't have a printer... thanks

·1 year agoHi stefania6524
If you are selling items on eBay, I recommend getting a printer for any eventuality.
If you buy the Poste Italiane label through eBay's shipping manager, it SHOULD be possible to send the package at the post office simply by having the label scanned directly from your smartphone.
Personally I have never tried it, but from a previous discussion it was said that this option is feasible.
If you do try this shipping method, let us know if it works.
In any case, for every eventuality, I recommend always writing on the package (even by hand) the sender and the recipient.

·1 year agohi I ship with brt and the courier comes to pick up the package from me so in theory I should have the label ready for him already so I'll look for someone who can print it for me because with the barcode as someone here wrote they can obviously read the data but the package would leave without a label unless I put it on by hand but not all couriers accept it like that ..of course I'll have to buy a printer but until now on other sites I've never needed one only here ...thanks

·1 year agoHoping that Stefania6524 hasn't meanwhile preferred to contact Glovo to have some hooded guy carry her home by bike, a stack of labels, I suggest a very simple and safe method for sending a package. It doesn't require asking anyone anything. The first step is to prepare the packaging with recycled cardboard (free) in good condition. Humming cheerfully: 'Packlink, Packlink, I couldn't care less about a drink'😀, I peel two nice stationery labels off the adhesive sheet in the preferred size and, after filling them out by hand, even with primary-school-style lettering (that's perfectly fine as long as it's readable), I apply them to my package. One is the sender (stefania) with her address and the other is for the recipient. Then, still humming to the tune of Frank Sinatra's Stranger in the Night: Courier you knooooow, I'm saying goodbye to you.. and you won't see me agaaaaain....lalalalalalaaaaa, I go down the stairs and take my package to the post office downstairs and even give it a little goodbye kiss. Stop. Done. If you want, go to the neighbor's and ask her to show you the online tracking on the postal shipment search service. You have nothing else to do or ask. OK ?? Of course, if you want Frank Sinatra's 1964 45 rpm record, I'll sell it to you !😀
A greeting from von.

·1 year agolook honey I've always shipped and sold on other sites I'm a newbie only here where there are a ton of problems....on the label tra-la-la' tra-la-la' I prefer there always be the barcode because' tra-la-la' tra-la-la' it's always better in case there are probòems tra-la-la'''''' sender and recipient details written by hand alone aren't enough I prefer safety and accuracy when doing my things tra-la-la-aaa' and tracking I'm perfectly capable of following it on my own ...I repeat I've already done shipments but not here ...tra-la-laaaa' you need precision in things not a hand-made label like that no way tra-la-laaaza' then you tra-la'la' do as you want byeeee

·1 year agoOnly some couriers that work for Packlink allow handwritten completion … https://support-ebay.packlink.com/hc/it/articles/208325869-Posso-scrivere-a-penna-l-Indirizzo-del-destinatario
If there aren’t any active ones, it’s better to ship from the post office.
