Good morning everyone.
As a private seller, I should sell a used kitchen, including appliances.
In the listing I specified that I don’t ship anything, pickup is only local (and frankly I wouldn’t know how else to go about it in this area) at the buyer’s expense.
Now, a potential buyer is asking me whether shipping via eBay is possible; I don’t think such a service exists, or does it?
If so, who could I turn to for a similar shipment? A regular courier?

OP1 year agoThank you very much for the responses.
At this point I'd rather cancel the sale.
It's impossible for me to ship.

·1 year agoOn a pallet the size is 120 x 80/100 cm, height a little over 150 / 170 cm, but the costs are high, even 200~400 euros.
If we’re talking about larger dimensions then you need to arrange a pickup with whoever handles transport / removals.
Send a message to the buyer explaining that it’s impossible to ship, so you’re canceling the sale.
Best regards.

·1 year agoGood morning,
eBay is not the right place to sell bulky items that are practically impossible to ship.
For these types of sales, it's better to rely on other marketplaces better known for local pickup.
Kind regards.

·1 year agoIf you've set the auction with local pickup, avoid shipping because they are two different procedures and you would run into problems if the buyer tried to be sneaky.
If the buyer doesn't want to pick up the item, cancel the sale.
For shipping you need to put the kitchen on a pallet and then have it picked up.
