Shipping question
Hello. It’s the first time I’m sending a parcel. At the post office they told me I have to pay €9.90, while on eBay there’s the option to print the shipping label for €5.
Do I have to do both things? Is the shipping label on eBay enough? What do I need to do?

·2 years agoYOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO BOTH THINGS.
They are TWO clearly different shipping services.
The rates offered by eBay shipping are cheaper than those you find at the post office.
You can find eBay shipping at this web address:
https://spedizioni.ebay.it/
You need to be careful because there are 3 shipping options.
A) shipping with delivery to a pickup point and arrival at a pickup point.
B) shipping with delivery to a pickup point and arrival at the buyer’s home address.
C) shipping with courier pickup at home and home delivery.
Once you have entered all the details, make the payment via PayPal or credit card and the system generates a shipping label that must be printed and attached to the package to be shipped.
Depending on the options chosen, the package can be taken to a post office or post point, or to a BRT point, or else the package is picked up at the sender’s address by the courier.
Kind regards.

OP2 years agoOkay, thanks a lot. And is the shipping method offered by eBay safe and reliable?

·2 years agoThe service on ebay is managed by Packlink, which uses couriers such as Poste Italiane SDA, BRT, UPS and DHL
You will be the one to choose the courier, from among those offered.
These are their prices for services with home pickup or for delivery to drop-off points.
