Duplicate VAT costs
Good morning, I’m asking for information regarding a purchase recently made from the United Kingdom.
When I bought it, in addition to the shipping costs, VAT was also charged to me.
In this case, the purchase, of a small amount (21 GBP), was charged 4.5 GBP for shipping and 5.61 GBP for VAT
Upon receipt, I was forced to pay 5.53 euros again.
Is it a mistake or is it due?

·1 year agoIt is due... that's not VAT, but customs and carrier charges... that is, what the courier charges for customs clearance and for importing the item.
