EBAY adds VAT to the final price, even though I specify that VAT is included in the price

Hello everyone.

I'm launching a new EBAY store and uploading the first listings. Just to say, I'm already pretty experienced, so much so that I'm adding the products by uploading an Excel file.

I only have one problem: even though I specify in the listing that VAT is included in the price, EBAY adds VAT to the price I set. For example, I enter €100, specifying that VAT is included in the price, and when the listing is published, I find €122.

I should point out that the EBAY account is registered to a Chinese company; I'm only taking care of organizing it for sales in Italy. Maybe that's why VAT is added automatically.

I could solve it by calculating the price without VAT and entering that, so that I end up with the price I want, but it seems like an unnecessary and laborious step for an option that should be very simple.
