I'm writing because I'm a bit worried about the comments regarding the new internal eBay shipping service.
I was excited about the launch of this new shipping option, but I'm seeing a ton of complaints, especially about lost parcels and packages stuck at the depot.
Today I generated 4 labels with the BRT service and I'm really worried. 🥹
Can we compare notes? How's it going for you? I think I'll start using Packlink again.

·1 week agoThe service offered by the couriers now presents unsustainable issues: delays are constant, while lost packages or packages delivered damaged are an everyday occurrence. On top of this comes the total lack of protections, with reimbursement requests systematically rejected or reduced to the bare minimum. Working under these conditions is unacceptable: for those who run an honest business and try to keep their commitments, this situation represents nothing but a continuous loss of money and time. Immediate action is essential to ensure minimum standards of seriousness and responsibility

·1 week agoPersonally, we haven’t had any problems, but we have all our parcels delivered to a Fermopoint that handles all couriers. We’ve never tried pickup, but deliveries are always on time, even with the new eBay shipments not handled by Packlink, and they also cost quite a bit less (about 10% less)

·1 week ago · EditedI’ve had several problems with BRT, especially with the way parcels are delivered: over the last year I’ve ended up receiving some broken or even opened.
I tried InPost and, at least for now, I’m getting along pretty well: they’ve been quite quick with deliveries and the fact that you can use lockers is really convenient, especially because you can ship pretty much at any time. The only limit, of course, is the size of the parcels, since the bigger ones can’t be sent through the locker.
What I honestly don’t understand is why they replaced Poste Italiane with InPost, a choice that for the moment I consider positive given how it’s going for me, but they didn’t do the same with BRT too, maybe switching to SDA or another courier.
Considering all the problems BRT has caused over the last year, it would have made sense to consider an alternative there too. Maybe with the new year the contracts will change and, who knows, the courier might change too. Let’s hope for the best and keep our fingers crossed! 🤞

joking aside, since Ebay historically when it makes major changes ( like the ones that will officially start tomorrow, September 1..... ) , often and gladly there’s a period , let’s say, of "settling in" , where , therefore, some "mess" happens......
maybe , where possible , avoid the new stuff and wait for a period of "bedding in" .....
specifically , since the new Ebay shipping manager seems to have already shown some problems, maybe , for those who can, wait to use it for a while by using the "old" Ebay Packlink shipping manager.......

OP1 week agoIn fact, it’s “partly” my fault (since I did make use of a paid service made available by the platform).
I can only hope that the packages are delivered regularly (in fact, the problems would concern only the handling of disputes).

·1 week agoI took advantage of the new service too. A real disappointment. Now I'm waiting for the courier to come pick up the package via Bartolini, but they aren't answering either

OP1 week agoIf it can help and comfort you, a package was delivered today. BRT delay (never happened with Packlink) but it was delivered.
4 are missing and I'm terrified.
