shipping error
Summary: davcamcost experienced an issue where two parcels were accidentally sent with identical shipping labels, resulting in both being delivered to the same recipient, who was not willing to return the misdelivered order despite the sender offering to pay for the shipping costs. davcamcost is wondering if there are grounds for a legal complaint due to this unauthorized retention of the goods.
hello everyone, last month something strange happened. Basically, the printer jammed and printed the same shipping label twice, and I didn’t notice because it was 2 days apart. I accidentally put the same label on 2 different packages intended for two different people, guy A and the other guy B, but they end up going to the first recipient, guy A. Now the question is: how does the courier accept 2 different packages with the same tracking number? So buyer guy A receives 2 packages, one his order and another he had never ordered. Guy A tells me about the mishap and, acknowledging the mistake, I suggest to guy A to repack everything and, at my expense, send a courier to his house to pick it up and take the order to the correct recipient, guy B. Guy A did not want to cooperate and kept both orders. Is there grounds for a report for unlawful appropriation?
