I can't buy an item because I get the error "use another card or check the balance" even though there should be enough balance, and the purchases I made a few months ago went through fine.

·2 years agoI have the same problem. I contacted the bank and everything seems OK. I made other purchases on other platforms and they went through fine.
Did you manage to solve it? And how?

OP2 years agoMy problem seems solved, but I don’t really understand how. I blocked my card for a minute, then unblocked it, and then it went back to normal.

·2 years agoasking the community, I think, doesn’t count for much (to say the least.....): the card will be from some issuing entity, so ask them and, if necessary, also Ebay support if they have any more info on the reason.... (not necessarily the first person who replies has it.....)

·2 years agoWhere did you make the other purchases?
On eBay they show as made more than 6 months ago, so your card is probably not properly enabled for online purchases and eBay also requires verification via temporary code.
So check whether your card is enabled for additional security, for example Secure 3D.
