Label with missing address
Hello, I'm a private seller, a package is being returned to the sender (me) for an incorrect address. I realized that the address is missing from the label (created with eBay shipping service) (it's a drop-off point). How does the refund to the buyer work? Will I be refunded the shipping costs?

·2 years agoIt depends:
If the user has chosen a drop-off point as the destination, the address is automatically entered by eBay according to what the customer has set.
The address appears on the transaction page.
PackLink “acquires” this address and uses it to fill out the label.
Unfortunately, sometimes it happens that the systems are not perfectly synchronized: you always need to check that the address shown by PackLink is identical to the shipping address shown by eBay and, if necessary, correct it before closing the LdV.
This is because if you entered the wrong address, you won’t be reimbursed anything for the shipment.
This is instead what happens if the buyer provides an incorrect address, which is why what eBay shows is what counts, not what PackLink enters automatically.

Specify that you shipped to the address the buyer gave you through eBay.
