eBay return label without insurance, their procedure
Summary: In the discussion, saul.sarasini raises a question regarding the return label on eBay without insurance and refers to the company’s procedure. sika700 responds, but the content does not provide any further details. The conversation appears to be inconclusive.
On 10/4 I made a return using eBay's return process and creating a label with Poste Italiane, the shipment is not insured and they lost my package just after it left the post office. It was a high-value item. I’m amazed they would propose shipping without insurance. If I had done the return with my usual courier and insured the shipment, it would surely have arrived. I trusted eBay but I was wrong, because I thought eBay buyer protection would cover the loss, instead I won’t receive any refund. With all the fees I’ve paid them in 20 years of selling. I’m really disappointed in them.
DO NOT USE THEIR RETURN LABEL PROCESS IT IS NOT INSURED AND YOU’LL END UP WITH NOTHING LIKE ME!

·1 year agoEbay only offered you an economical shipping option... if you didn't like it, you had no obligation to use the service offered and could have just sent it however you preferred.
Kind regards.
